Welcome to the Easter Parade

Hello all and a very happy first day of spring to you. Miss Sandy at Quill cottage is hosting an Easter Parade today and you're all invited to visit and join in the fun. Thank you Miss Sandy!

I have been having the hardest time deciding which bonnet to wear to this wonderful event. So Marie Antoinette (or Marie for short) has agreed to model some of my Easter Bonnet choices.

Here's Marie

Here's Marie modeling a little pink netted beauty with pearls.

This is a lovely little hat covered with roses and it has such a sweet brim.

This one is a a wowzer!

Or maybe this little cutie?

Now if you would please vote for your favorite and help me decide which would be best to wear to the Easter Parade, I would be ever so grateful!

See you all at Quill Cottage

Nancy, it's so hard to decide as all the hats are wonderful. I think, because we really need some spring, I'm going to go with the pink netted confection with pearls.

Just a beautful Easter parade and you enjoy you restful break.

It's hard to choose, they're all beautiful! But I think I'll go with #3 or #4. And now I think I'll run over to your sweet hubby's blog and see which of his choices will go best with your bonnets. You'll be the handsomest couple at the parade! Have fun!

Can't wear a hat and have it look good to save my soul, but I love the pink netted one...so much like an Easter confection!

Your post is beautiful...enjoy the first day of spring!

I love the final bonnet that you have Marie dressed in! So pretty! It's too bad that there's not too much call for such lovely feminine garb these days. I can't wait until I'm old and grey and can wear stuff like that all the time!
Cheers,
Margaret

That would take some neck muscles to actually wear that first hat :]
Number two is a winner for me.

Hi Nancy! I have not been making my rounds as much in blogworld and boy have I missed things. I vote for the straw hat trimmed in roses. It is so simple, sweet and romantic. Just right for an Easter Parade! By the way, I adore that movie, don't you?

I don't feel much like Easter. It is snowing outside my window. All winter, we have had spring weather over here in Holland and now it is spring and our weather has turned to winter. :)

You and Bill will look so grand together. I love them all, but the middle one spoke most to me...more subtle and just sweet and pretty. The last one is so elegant though...a toss up! Have fun and I want a pic of you and Bill in all your splendor!

Nancy,
This was a wonderful post! I have to go with confection number one, the pink netting and swishy floral print skirt won me over. Thank you so much for joining the parade!

Happy Easter,
Miss Sandy
