Miniature Treasures

The smaller an item is the more precious it becomes to me. Do you feel the same way? There is something exquisite about a miniature. I had the good fortune to find these little beauties. I have a special project in mind for them.

They certainly look sweet all in a row like this.

Wait . . . what is that I see inside?

This tiny one has made a home of the lovely thimble case.

Have a Beautiful Day!

The busts are just lovely, Nancy. How pretty--and I love the shell thimble holder. I've often wondered what those things are really for.

Hello Nancy,

Is it mother of pearl? Such a lovely piece and the dolls are fantastic!

Your dainty sweet china heads are lovely, the middle one in fact quite rare.
The one resting in the shell thimble holder has secrets to share I'm sure.Imagine tucked away in such a lovely vessel surrounded in a Mother of Pearl lining.
I look forward to viewing the creations they inspire!

Hi Nancy,

I LOVE miniature treasures. I started collecting Victorian sewing toys a few years ago, and marvel at the creativity and workmanship that went into each one.

Looking forward to seeing what becomes of your little figurines...

Hugs,

Kate

Nancy, these are so special, and the tiny won really stole my heart. I have such a love for tiny things. I even paint miniature canvases for my daughter's doll houses. I so admire your photography, and the way you arrange your compositions. Karen

I think I am having thimble case and little white head envy. Not nice I know but true. I think it is their absence of color that appeals to me. I can't wait to see what magic you do with them!
