If you have lovely things hidden away, take them out of the closet, cabinet or storage space and use them.
I love transforming everyday items into romantic decorations. I’ve been creating away over this last week. It has inspired me to weed through my things and bring out some things long forgotten. I’ve made my part-with pile and my keeper-pile.This one is a keeper.
I came across this old butter dish and thought it would make a beautiful candle holder.
Do you have everyday items you’ve transformed into romantic decorations?

I love this idea!!! Now if only I could find such a lovely dish. You do have a way with arranging things.
Love the butter dish as a candle holder. How elegant!
I like using old silver tea set pieces in my office to hold supplies.
I love this, but I love the cake stands under the dome in the background too! I use these domes all the time, for displaying cards (you can do that in every season just change the cards). I love to use bowls of glass too for displaying shells or candy.
Have a great weekend!
I just love these pictures-they're beautiful! I really like the butter dish turned candle holder-very creative!
Nancy, I love the butter dish/candle holder. Wonderful idea. I'm sure if we unpacked all our boxes that are stored away it would be surprising to see what we had.
Hugs karen
That's what makes it fun, n'est-ce pas? Using what you already have. Thank you for the ideas chèrie! Anita
I have things squirreled away - wedding gifts I thought I'd never use. Guess I was wrong! Going off to dig them out now....
Hugs,

What a lovely reminder! I better go through my "stash".

You are sooooo good at this! And I'm not so much! But coming here always gives me inspiration to try and "pretty" up my home.
The dommed silver butter dish is stunning as a candle holder....
Hello Nancy,
A huge applause to you! Love what you did! Awesome!

I have too many closets full of stuff that just collect dust...I need Oprah's declutter team to knock on my door!!
Your new transformations are wonderful!!!
I try, periodically, to have a girlfriend come over to help me pull out some of my "hidden" treasures. Sometimes a second set of eyes adds a new perspective to those things we tuck away and forget about!

Hi Nancy,
What a great idea for a beautiful butter dish. I am using a soap dish for a candle holder at the moment.
Your photos are so pretty. I would love to tour your house sometime.

What a great idea! I actually have such a butter dish and love the round shape of it.
I also like the cake tiers in the background. You would love my matching plates!
Funny how people with similar tastes collect the same things! LOL
Most certainly a keeper! I love the creative use.
I couldn't agree with you more...
Thank you for the Mother's Day wishes.
May your day be filled with love,
