This weekend started off with so much promise. I had dreams of all the work I was going to get done.
Here was my list:
1. Weed the backyard
2. Organize excess clutter
3. Clean my wood floors
4. Clean my bathrooms
5. Make artwork
6. Shop for food
7. Get ready for the week
Things crossed off my list, a big ZERO!
I came down with a spring cold. I did manage to pick some spring flowers from my garden before it began to rain. Here are the photos I took before the rain came pouring down.

This sweet man patiently took care of me all weekend and I'm on the mend now. Here he is writing away like the bard he is.

Seems like everyone is getting ill these days. Hope you are feeling better! I came by because it has been so long since I visited and I wanted to purchase a shoe. Looks like I will have to comission one from you. Perhaps email me and let me know if you would be willing!
Have a most lovely start to your week! LOVE the flowers!

Nancy, your look from your bed, the flowers, the bard, I almost envie you. Just joking, not really of course, Good to hear that you are on the mend now.
Btw; thanks for leaving me such a sweet comment on my last post on collecting cardboard boxes. When I added the side bar button, I discovered that I was a week too late, just my luck! Though I had to laugh about it. I changed the links to the mr. linky page and believe me, every one has her post up now! Sorry if I have caused any inconveniences.
Hope you feel well again and you have a nice day!
Nancy, i hope you are feeling better soon...the view from your bed is lovely...your flowers look so pretty...i can't wait until i have something blooming over here!!!
Bonjour Nancy!
I hope you get better soon. A spring cold is no fun to have especially when you have so many things to do!! Your flowers are just lovely. We are waiting for our crabapple trees to bud their beautiful flowers, but that won't be until late April!
Love and blessings to you all! Anita

I love snowdrops and Freesia...
I use to tell my children a wonderful story when they were little, about why snowdrops were the first flower to bloom after a long winter nap...
Hope you are feeling better...

You're so lucky to have such lovely flowers in your very own yard! Here in the Pacific NW things on the flower front are pretty darn bleak. Even the poor little primroses are soggy!
Blessings,
Spencer
Nancy, beautiful flowers and a little rest plus some loving care is sure to make you well.
