Kindred Hearts and Magical Creations

A few years ago, I came across an artist whose art is pure delight. Her work has refined imagination and fragile beauty. To my surprise she recently contacted me and I believe I have found a kindred spirit friend. There is nothing more wonderful than finding someone who shares your sensibilities and passions. Joanna Thomas of Inchelina captures fairytale dreams, and in her sculptures these dreams take flight.

I am pleased to present her work to you. I’m sure your hearts will be touched by the beauty of her art doll creations.

Can you tell who this lovely little lady is? Her name is Little Marie. I was stunned by the details of her costume.

This was a special order Joanna made. I just adore her and the name plate on the base, Bebe. I almost wept when I found out she and Little Marie were sold!

The Duchess

And what fairy tale collection would be complete without the white rabbit? I love Joanna's take on this wonderful creature.

I've presented only a few of Joanna’s creations. If you want to delight your eyes more, please visit Joanna's blog for links to her recent works and Etsy shoppe.

Thank you so much Nancy for featuring me on your wonderful blog! I am both honored and humbled by everyone's comments. When I read everyone's notes it made me tear up that my dolls could touch people so. It is what I strive for and to know I have succeeded is the best reward I could ask for.

I feel like I have stumbled upon one of the most beautiful places on earth. Your space, your shoes, and now these delicate little dolls. Thank you for sharing Joanna's dolls. Everyone should surround themselves with such beauty. Handmade dreams. I am dreaming of finally turning my little room into a serenely beautiful place to display all of the things my dreams are made of and I must have one or two or three of your dreamy shoes and her exquisite little creatures. Today I will start my wish list so my husband no longer has to say he didn't know what to buy me on those special occasions. Thank you for a return to beauty and glamour in a world of grunge.
