It started off with beauty and ended with . . . ?

There I was, relaxing at the end of a long afternoon in my favorite chair. My eyes casually wandered to a little divan near me, and there sat my camera. The light was quickly fading from the day. Would I have enough time?

I hurriedly pulled the camera from its case and opened the drape wide to capture the last rays of the sun. What would they love?

I’ll share details. We all know that the magic of life is in the details. I began clicking away.

A beautiful antique vanity tray

A sweet little leather pincushion with hand beading

A simple vase . . . My hand was unsteady as I took this photo. I love the overall softened and blurred effect that was created.

A yummy Laduree box in mint green!

Capturing the details went well until the last photo, a shot of my crystal doorknob . . .

I’ve heard of this sort of thing happening. You know how people will claim to see faces in their toasted cheese sandwich or cooked salami? I never thought it would happen to me, but it has. As I examined the last photo, I saw Them. Can you?

Weird, huh?

Hope your week is going well!

They popped out right away! There is a crook in the tree branch outside my bedroom window that looks like an elongated head. It stares at me through the space between the curtain and the wall and makes me hop out of bed asap in the morning!!
The photos are lovely, and I think the blur is perfect.

Because we are now in my Grandparents' home and have very sweet doorknobs like this everywhere, I, too, have seen reflections and love the sweetness of it. Lovely posts dear one. Blessings from Amy

LOL! That last photo is funny! That is kind of amazing how the light reflects and our mind picks it up as a familiar "face".

I am so loving that shoe pincushion! How very pretty! :)

Looks like you've got ghosts! :) I've heard of enchanted rooms, but enchanted doorknobs? Funny. I guess it's true that the camera never blinks...
