Workshop at Castle in the Air

I have wonderful news. I will be co-teaching a paper shoe class with Miss Ulla at the Castle, August 8th. If you would like to join us, you can sign up here, just click on the classes link and then move the calendar to the desired month and date. It would be great to see some of you there.

I will be teaching my Marie ruffle shoe technique and Ulla has the most fabulous shoe design in store for everyone. You will love it!

Sharing my art and inspiring people to their own artwork is what I’m really about. The techniques I will be teaching in the workshop above will be for your own personal use and not for commercial reproduction. I’m sorry I have to put that disclaimer out there, but artists who make a living from what they create will understand my heart. I love to inspire . . . but copying another artist’s designs is hurting their livelihood.

It was beautiful here over the weekend and my garden is overflowing with blooms. I’ve been having fun picking flower bouquets and placing them throughout our home.

A rose arch way in front of one of our windows is covered with sweet smelling roses. This year the roses seem to be bursting all over the place. I've never had so many flowers.

These gorgeous roses are a favorite of mine. They are called French Lace. There are a few double delight buds included too. I threw my french doors wide open today. To take in the beautiful rose scented air.

I am so excited for the new class you will be teaching, I wish I could be one of your students.
Roses never disappoint, even when dried they remain beautiful.
I am fond of your rambling roses and even the scantily petaled old fashioned roses.
