Curiouser and Curiouser

My life has been topsy turvy for 2 weeks and there doesn’t seem to be any sign of change ahead. Things are becoming curiouser and curiouser. I feel like Alice in Wonderland falling down the rabbit hole.

To find some sense of normalcy, I’ve been letting my creative side dream.

This is what is inspiring me right now . . .

Ruffles!

This photo is a bit hard to distinguish. It was taken from a photo copy I have. Can you see the tiny lovely ruffles?

Ruffle tag and the huntress Diane . . .

The swan image in the center of the tag, was a sticker label on a package I had purchased from Bell'occhio. I loved the swan image so much, I added it to the tag and now I can enjoy it daily.

Brightly colored flowers on my work table and beautiful images of shoes

Hand dyed silk for a special project

It is a soulless room that doesn’t have at least one candle burning. I love candle light and I try to light at least one candle a day. There is something about it that soothes my soul. I do it even in the heat of summer.

I hope to back soon with some lovely goodies for you all.

Have a glorious day!

Nancy, I missed you!! I hope your topsy turvy life slows down for you. I love the flowers on your table, they are beautiful. I too burn a candle every day, even in the summer. I love wood wick candles, they sound like a fire burning and crackling, and they smell delightful. Have a lovely day. xxoo Valarie

Nancy, it's SO NICE to see you back again, even if still unsettled. I think it's these roller coaster times that make us appreciate the normalcy in life later on.

Once again you've provided plenty of blog candy for us to enjoy - that candle is gorgeous! Or is it the candle itself?

Hugs,

Kate

So good to see you back. The ruffles and your comments remind me of the words of Alice in the Garden of Live Flowers:"But how curiously it twists! More like a corkscrew than a path!" Maybe the ruffles are your path through this "curious time". How wonderful creating helps to settle people. Good luck
Nancy. Hope you find this curious journey is just part of the process.
