Oh my, what a lovely way to start the morning. With my cup of mango tea and the sun peeking through the flowers outside the window, this post just made me sigh with contentment. The pictures are just beautiful and filled with some of my favorite things!

Dear Nancy,

I just love these pictures.
Are those roses from your garden?
There are stunning….and that feather is a glorious color.
I just got some delicious red cherries to put in a bowl to put on the table.
They were so good they did not last long enough to enjoy the look, but we did enjoy
the taste…

For me cherries are the taste of summer and bring back happy childhood memories. My grandmother had cherries trees, my job was to climb the trees and pick a bucket full every other day. I remember how I loved to walk into my grandmother’s house and see the white enamel bowl with the red trim filled with the cherries.
The only thing better was the next day when the cherry pie was sitting in its place…

I love summer! Your photos of summer represent the best of it to me. We have a moderate climate so we can actually enjoy sitting outside, eating cherries, walk through the garden and enjoy the roses. I do hope you have a happy and lovely summer too!

Such beautiful photos! I love the detail shots! Oh, cherries are the perfect treat for this time of the year! I love to pop 'em in the freezer for a mini popsicle (with a bit more fiber and vitamins than a regular processed popsicle)!
