Roses

I love roses! I'm sure there are very few people on this earth who don't love them. The double delights pictured below are from my garden. They smell heavenly.

I have to confess my garden is a disgrace. It's overgrown with weeds and plants that were not trimmed back properly this last year. I feel terrible because I put so much time and effort into my little patch of earth. I hope I can clean everything up this next weekend.

Here are roses that will never fade. A gift from a kindred spirit.

This lovely ormomlu box originally encased a white porcelain box. It was severely cracked so I pounded it out. This diamond in the rough will now receive a lining of pale pink silk.

An antique hand painted Italian box with roses. This box has been patched and mended numerous times and is very decrepit. I still love it any way. The painting on this is similar in style to the box I have pictured in my banner.

My Marie is wearing one of my favorite millinery roses. Can you have to many roses in your life?

I don't think so.

Oh Nancy,
I do hope I can take some nice pictures of our home....our little coolpix, even after setting it without that ugly flahs, still delivers "washed out" results. I am trying to weave in fabulous photos from the internet to keep interest high, while trying communicate my vision. The house looks great, but the lighting....well you know the story!!!!

Bisous! Anita
