A quick blog to say I'm still here.

This morning we woke up to gray ominous skies. I needed a bit of distraction from the gloom so I took a break to clean up the brass handles on the desk below. They had acquired a dark patina, which I didn't like. I'm so glad I took the time to brighten these up. The gold color is a nice contrast against the coco brown finish.

Our bathroom mirror

I just finished this mirror. We accidentally chipped the corner a few months ago. Instead of throwing it out, I covered it with mother of pearl chips and quartz geodes. I love the way the geodes sparkle in the light.

Wishing you a beautiful spring my blogging friends.

It looks like a very expensive mirror.... what a great idea to "fix it" instead of tossing!

Gorgeous style.

Now there's a beautiful mirror you won't find anywhere else...at least, not until Pinterest gets a hold of it!

Thanks dear Nancy for sharing your lovely home. Btw, is the drawing next to the mirror one you made? I absolutely love it.

So happy to know you're still 'here.' Hugs

Hello Nancy,
Hope this week finds you safe and well. What a tragedy today. As I tuck my kiddos into bed tonight, more than ever, there is so much to be thankful for.

We are still in the midst of winter here. It seems as if spring does not want to come but my allergies are kicking in. Doesn't seem fair to have both snow and allergies at the same time. Oh well, spring has to be on its way soon, it just has to be.

Have a good week,
Kate
