Roses by My Bedside


White roses are a favorite with me. These have opened and seem to glow from within.


Years ago, I was on a vacation back East. We were driving through Essex, Massachusetts. It was a beautifully cool spring day and everything was green and lush. The air was so pure it was as if our lungs were drinking in liquid oxygen.

The heavenly scent of these roses remind me of that day.

    Nancy, your pictures are so gorgeous!!! i loved what you said to me today about the cottage clips...it is really sunny here today and i could almost see it...and smell the fresh cut grass...oooooh, i cannot wait until i am warm again!!!

    Ahhhh, there is nothing as exquisite as a rose!!!

    White roses are my favorite too. I've always heard they meant "pure love". Your photos are beautiful, as are your words. I found myself taking a deep breath as if I was trying to catch a bit of the pure oxygen from your trip. Happy weekend to you too!

    Your photos are so beautiful... I can "feel" the velvety softness of the petals in the closeup.

    Anita is right! You should be doing this professionally! You have the best photography of all the blogs I've ever seen Nancy. People can enter into your photos and FEEL the calm and serenity they hold.
