I can’t believe it's the weekend. This week has flown by! I haven’t had a chance to get around much to visit, so I'll be dropping by soon.
I'll leave you all with some more tuft love.
I gathered blue gray ribbon around the edges of this cushion, which was beginning to fray badly. It looks luscious in real life, and a bit Marie Antoinettish.
Nancy amor, you aren't the only one that wasn't out visiting much :) I have missed coming to visit you and I needed a moment to soak up some beauty and just relax and smile...so here I am :) Beautiful tuffted cushion, I like what you did with the ribbon :) Besos, Rose
ps..I am glad you liked the card, it was just something small to let you know you were thought of, I will be sending you that picture soon :)
This is absolutely marvelous. Thank you dear heart for the lovely conversation and for permission to use your image. Please stop by for a moment when you get a chance. Vive Marie Antoinette!!!! You do her more than justice...you elevate her beauty to classic proportions! Bisous, Anita
Hi Nancy, Such a beautiful tufted pillow. It reminds me of my mother's bedroom as a child. She had a tufted headboard and always wore a pink satin tufted robe. I saw your beautiful shoe creation on Anita's blog today. Your work is so lovely and when I see something published about your work in the beautiful Somerset magazines I marvel at your creativity. Oh Nancy! That little pink fainting couch for my little dog...I found that here in Minneapolis and it was originally white wire, but I painted it gold, attached the metal angels and ripped off the original fringe. Then I glued on the gold fringe! The puppy, I bought in Nice, France. He is French and he is just a little cutie! I will perhaps do a post on miniatures one day, but you know how I feel about my photography skills!!! Anita
