I'm still getting ready for family. I'm just popping in to say, "hello", and to show you what I've been up to.
It's all about color right now. I've always been a neutral kind of gal, but there have been stirrings inside of me lately . . . longings for color . . .
Hot pink silk, turquoise blue with touches of gold
Gold, Light Pink and Lavender
I recovered my kitchen stools in a blue and brown pattern. Then I changed the curtains in the kitchen to match.

I too think that colors somehow belong to summer! I have a haunch for turqoises (blues as well as greens) and pinks lately. Have a lovely time with your family Nancy!

I think we all need spot or two…
It funny because I have had to deal with a very bright family room the last few years.
my dear hubby and son painted the room for me but the paint was mixed wrong, I picked an ivory with a tint of yellow but it turned out to be a deco yellow…I wasn’t home at the time and I didn’t have the heart to ask them to paint it again (cathedral ceilings). There is a lot of sunlight in this room which makes it great in the winter but this time of year I need family room sunglasses… I am getting bathed in too much color…I could use a little gray…
