First, I have to start by saying that I love decorating with a white and a pale color palette (in fact I did a post about it here).
That being said . . .
I just received my Romantic Homes color issue and I’ve been pouring over its hot color for 24 hours. There is no denying that happy colors make you feel happy! I think this is the best Romantic Homes Color issue they’ve ever put out. This issue features Crown and Crumpet a marvelous new tea salon that has opened in San Francisco. The photo shoot in this tea salon is eye popping, WOW!! It inspired me to create little mini-vignettes based on my favorite hot colors.
If you don’t have a subscription to Romantic Homes you should run out and get this issue. You won’t regret it!

The gorgeous silk ribbon rose pictured above was a gift from lovely

gorgeous color today Nancy!!!
The pictures are gorgeous...my favorite is the blue :-) I, too, tend to stick with a light color palette, although I love the energy of bright, vibrant colors. Perhaps, this spring, I will step out of my comfort zone!

Love the colors and the vignettes-very feminine! I like Romantic Homes magazine too! They always have such lovely pictures:)
I LOVE your colorful photos Nancy! They are so creative, they should be in a magazine!! You are so talented and you have such an incredible eye for style and composition. I'm going to get a copy this weekend, sounds wonderful.

I'm having a Romantic Candlelight Tea for Valentine's Day (I'll be posting on 2-13-09) for visitors to enjoy. Most of the things I love are packed up also so I made do with what I could put together. It was a fun challenge. I'd be happy if you would like to join in the challenge or you can just come and enjoy my tea!
Just the little colour perk up I needed on a cold winter morning! Can't wait to get my copy of Romantic Homes.
Too bad it isn't available up here. When I hear positive stories like this one, and see gorgeous eye candy too, like your photos, I'll buy one. With all those magazines stopping I 'd rather not take a subscription.
Dear Nancy,
We all need a few rainbows in our life…
I had to smile when I saw this post because I too spent yesterday looking at color as I was
planning my Easter table…
I know it’s only Feb. but I love Easter, it is one of my favorite Holidays…
I always start by picking my napkin colors; I think I will be using a pretty pink and a light lime green this year. So when I saw your pink and green picture I just smiled. I think I will have to pick up a copy of that magazine this weekend...

Oh, I love that magazine too. I have to look for this issue. Nancy, your photography is so gorgeous, are you a professional photographer? I love visiting you, it's like stepping into magic. Your white post was especially lovely.

I met the lovely owner of the tea salon in LA last month. She is so lovely and their tea house sounds fabulous!
The HOT pink rose took my breathe away. Absolutely, positively, drop dead gorgeous. Colleen
I am not a hot color person, but your photos really give a lot of credit to colors that never touched me befor until now! Bisous, Anita
