Fall Wedding in New England

I’m baacck!

I spent this last week in beautiful New England. I had the privilege to attend a family wedding. It was a gorgeous fall wedding and the bride was one of the most beautiful brides I’ve ever seen.

The peak color season was pretty much over when I arrived.

Holding hands at the wedding rehearsal.

I loved the fall color flowers against the white and pumpkin colored dresses.

This bouquet was made by yours truly. We had to quickly make a tossing bouquet, so I ran to the store and whipped this one together.

Sweet little flower girl basket

The bride’s bouquet with amazing dark calla lilies.

There were candied apples as party favors and we danced up a storm.

The time flew and now I’m home with major jet lag. I can’t believe that a three hour difference can take such a toll.

Hope you all had a great week.

Bonjour Nancy, it's great to have you back! I love this festive autumn post! And yes I know all about jet lags. You know that when we change time for seasonal reasons (loose 1 hour in spring and take it back in autumn) I'm always a little sick of that! It is only one hour diference! Can you imagine that?

Just to celebrate you're back I'll take you on a visit to Paris and we'll have a small treat...

(there must be an English translation but hey the French one sounds soooo much better!),

Dear Nancy,

I so wish we could have gone to the wedding, but it is hard to get away during the academic year. I told our brother that if he ever gets married and doesn't plan it for the summer when we are free, I'll be very upset.

Love to you et al.

So glad you had a wonderful time at the wedding. Fall weddings are especially beautiful, thanks for sharing your pics. We just hosted a wedding reception in our backyard, and I am going through wedding plan withdrawl. Your pics helped me get my "wedding fix!"

Loved the apples as favors. What a wonderful treat!

Love the wedding colors…
Sunflowers are a favorite flower of mind.
I hope the part of New England that you visited was full of autumn at its best.
Here in southern NE the colors have been washed away by lots of rains.
