A Bit of Christmas

Paper cranes for Christmas are inspiring me with their bright colors and patterns.

We are keeping it simple again this Christmas. After last year's Christmas decoration purge, we only have our very favorite decorations now.

OH, we have that some golden bayleaf wreath...dearest, it is quite simply here chez nous aussi, but I prefer it that way. Only a few natural elements like twigs and some sparkled items, it is very peaceful and lovely.....I prefer it that way these days as school days are crazy enough in themselves...I would rather come home to peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU for visiting and may GOD BLESS YOU! Anita

Everything looks so elegant. Your cranes are so colorful. Did you make those? Your gold Christmas bulbs look so pretty in that giant shell.

Dear Nancy,

This is all so exquisite..very beautiful. I love Da Vinci's quote: "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication". You are proving it here with the serene beauty you create!
And I thank you so much for stopping by chez moi, always wonderful to "see" you :)
We had a nice and calm Thanksgiving, and I do hope yours was full of joy and blessings. Would love to meet you someday when you visit your dear ones in MN!

Take care,
- Irina

I could look at your photos all day, and I often do :)

You know Nancy, I was perusing through a MS Christmas book recently, and stumbled onto instructions for paper cranes.
Apparently, the right side of my brain must've been on 'Pause' because I couldn't make heads or tails (no pun intended) of any of it.
But I will always admire origami, and the artists who create them.

Happy Holidays to you, dear friend!
