Autumn 2018

Well, as you can see from my last post, we’ve moved! And its been a long time since I’ve told tales of our small home. An interesting chapter has opened in our lives and it seems like this may be the right time to explore being creative again. The new home we’re living in is a rental. A tiny little home which is 317 square feet smaller than our last one! I fell in love with it because it was the cleanest rental we could find in our area. The owners had just finished remodeling a large portion of it (there are still some things that need to be done). I’m not sure how long we will be here, but for now I’m going to make this the coziest home I can.

I love this taper ring from Terrain. It’s amazing because you can change it according to any holiday you might be celebrating. I have a real candle burning in these photos, but I wouldn’t recommend doing that. A better option is a battery-operated taper. I was watching the burning candle like a hawk while I took photos.

More fall vignettes. . .

The two patterned floor pillows are from World Market.

I’m not sure all of what I’ll be sharing or how often. I’m just going to have fun for now.

I've had such fun being on Instagram and it's opened up some opportunity for me to write for Romantic Homes and more. I know you will enjoy your styling and sharing, and we will too. The house looks wonderful with your simple, elegant and impressive touch. We love you!

Hi Nancy, I don't know if you remember me from way way back - I think when we both started blogging. I was still subscribed to you and was so happy to start seeing post from you again. Love your photos. Love the wreath from Terrain Tell us more. Good to hear from you again.
