It's Raining Again

I know . . .

I just posted that summer had arrived. Here I am two days later, and summer has retreated for the next few days under the clouds. I'm so very grateful for the rain, but it wasn't supposed to rain again in our area.

I spent part of the day yesterday with a friend cleaning up a family member's beautiful garden. We washed every single piece of outdoor furniture, and set everything up beautifully. This morning we rushed back to move everything under the eaves again! I've decided not to let this frustrate the heck out of me and roll with the punches.

I want to thank you all for the lovely comments you have left on my hankie post. I still take my photos with a small point and shoot camera. I use the macro setting and zoom lens. I'm not sure that qualifies me as having any real photography skills, but it sure is fun.

that is the kind of camera i use too Nancy...my husband is always telling me to upgrade...but my camera still works fine, so i am keeping it for now...you must have better lighting in your home than i do though...your indoor pics always look so pretty...and mine turn out too dark to use...it has been raining here like crazy...the schools just west of us were closed on tuesday because of water damage...we had massive storms on monday...totally ruined my peonies...blew every single petal off of the blooms...i had just been thinking about bringing some in the house too, right before the first storm arrived...ah, well...oh, LOL...i think my comment is longer than your post...i am leaving now:)

Well, you have more skills that I do and your results say something about your abilities! This has to be my favorite photo of yours, really! And...I hope your rain subsides in the next several weeks!!!!! Anita

It's been very soggy here lately, as well. Every time I start doing anything outside, it tends to have to be rushed and between outbursts of pouring down rain. My garden looks fabulous... but I'm missing the sunshine.

Wonderful picture by the way. Just absolutely beautiful.

Hope you have a sunny weekend,
Susan
