Light

It’s been raining for days and days. I look for light in the heavens and pray for a break in the clouds. When it happens the sunshine is lighting up my bedside table.

I treasure this moment of warmth and sit in the rays of the sun. I whisper my hopes and ask for God's grace.

The sunshine fades behind the clouds again, but His light remains.

Bonjour Nancy, I do hope that you saw some sunlight today. Over here we had a lovely winterday. Blue sky, about 10 celsius, not bad for the time of the year, you can smell spring already. Love your photos again, especially the last one. Are those mother of pearl hearts or bath pearls? Hope you enjoy a sunny day, hugs LiLi.

I feel similar to your endless days of rain, only here it's the endless days of winter. The sun is out, and it is beautiful. But Spring is getting more and more exciting to me now.

Ma belle soeur, I will send you some pictures today! We are still not done with the dining room, and some pictures still need to be hung in the new family room. Exposed beams and a gorgeous crystal chandelier are awaiting the professionals to come and put them up, and then we will be pretty much set. But so far, it is a joy to have extra room in our little cottage...back later, Anita

As we face another drought here in the Sunny South, I'd gladly take some of your rain off your hands.

This was a beautiful post, Nancy!
