Twilight Beauty

Twilight comes into our home moving softly here and there. A chair orphaned and torn apart is made beautiful with a little love.

I know many people would shy away from its tattered state, but I find something irresistible about it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Renewing the broken, tattered, and torn, I love that.

I find that I am in this business, the business of mending the torn, embellishing the promising patterns of creativity and growth in young children, and restoring my own perseverance. Lovely chair and what great memories of this home, Anita

What absolutely gorgeous photos! I love the chair - the patina is beautiful and being a bit tatty makes it look loved and from another time. Thankyou for sharing such beautiful things!

I am always drawn to it as well Nancy. Your tattered chair speaks to me. It is beautiful!
The pieces you choose to live with in your home gives me a insight to who you are. Everything in your home has such grace and loveliness to it. I love that about you.

I would like to ask you one more thing. Do you remember the photograph of the little french doll you had one on your link page? Could you please tell me that artists name? I would like to "pin" her doll on my board.

Do you use Pnterest? In case you don't I will send you an invite now. It is a super way to keep visual inspiration without having to store photos in your photo files.

Thanks, if you can give me the info about the doll artist!!

A little tatter is wonderful. like the famous line from the old movie, Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte,'All I have left in live is ruined finery." So true. love the sparkle fabric and your music is wonderful.I have dropped by, by way of Ms. Vanna. Richard from My Old Historic House.

Dear Nancy,
I think that a true artist, a true poet is someone who sees something profound and beautiful in the every day. My Anita is an artist and poet. So, my sister, are you.

Love to you and all.
Ruben
